Best 191 car finance deals

Alfa Romeo – Alfa’s main offering this 191-plate period is significant money off all models. There’s only between €1,000 and €1,500 of reductions on the older Giulietta hatchback, under the ‘191 Alfisti Saving’ scheme, but on the newer Giulia and Stelvio cars, bigger rewards can be had – anything from €2,800 off certain models of the Stelvio SUV or €3,000 off a few Giulias, up to a whopping €6,000 off either; in particular, the high-performance Quadrifoglio versions of the two vehicles. You need to order before January 31 to qualify for these reductions.

Audi – Audi is offering low APR on its PCP deals on most of its range – the A3 (Sportback and Saloon), A4 (Saloon and Avant), A5 (Coupe and Sportback), A6, A7, A8, Q2, Q5 and Q7 all qualify. It’s the A6 and Q5 that have the lowest APR offers of 2.9 per cent, while the rest are all on 3.9 per cent, bar the A7 at 4.9 per cent APR. Also, technology bundles are offered to the customer at a vastly reduced price – for instance, the A4 SE Edition 50 Pack adds metallic paint, ambient lighting, front sports seats with heating function, front parking sensors, a comfort armrest and 18-inch alloys for €1,500, when then pack should cost €4,080.

BMW – The German manufacturer is simply offering low monthly payment deals via PCP on various models, from as little as €272 pcm on the 1 Series, up to €746 pcm on the new X5 SUV.

Citroen – Citroen’s 191 offers include a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty on all new models, as well as a scrappage bonus: if you bring in an older, qualifying car, then there’s €1,000 off the C1 city car, €2,000 off the C3 and C3 Aircross, €2,500 off the Berlingo Multispace, €3,000 off the C4 Spacetourer and Grand C4 Spacetourer MPVs, and then €4,000 off the Spacetourer van-derived MPV. The exception to all this 191 goodness appears to be the updated C4 Cactus hatchback.

Dacia – Dacia, the value subsidiary of Renault, is offering 4.9 per cent APR finance on all its models, which are hardly the most expensive of new vehicles anyway. This means you can get into the Sandero hatch, for example, for as little as €99 per month.

Fiat – Three is the magic number for Irish fans of Fiat, as the company is offering 3 per cent APR on finance deals and three years’ free servicing on new 191-plate 500, 500X and Tipo models. Additionally, it will offer an ‘engine price match’ of €1,750 on diesel Tipos, so they’re priced at the same level as the petrol versions.

Ford – Ford is aggressively targeting Kia with its Innov8 191 programme, as it is offering a seven-year warranty and seven years’ worth of roadside assistance on all models ordered before January 31. There are also tech bundles offered on various models, to improve the standard equipment lists.

Honda – The Civic is the main focus of the Honda 191 offers programme, with finance APR from 3.9 per cent and also a free Service Plan on diesel models.

Hyundai – As well as the usual five-year, unlimited mileage warranty that the Korean manufacturer offers all the time, it’s offering five years’ free servicing on all new cars, APR as low as 3.9 per cent on finance deals and a scrappage scheme of between €3,000 and €5,000 on all models (it’s only the Santa Fe SUV that qualifies for the maximum amount). Be quick, as this generous offer ends on January 31.

Jaguar – A simple deal here, as the British manufacturer is offering 4.9 per cent APR on its PCP deals, meaning you can get into a brand-new, 191-plate E-Pace from as little as €420 pcm.

Jeep – The off-road specialist’s 191-plate offers relate solely to the Compass and Renegade models, where there’s anything between €1,500 and €2,500 off various models. This deal ends, like many other 191 offers, on January 31.

Kia – Kia’s doing 0 per cent APR on three of its key model lines, which are the Ceed family car range, as well as the Stonic and Sportage crossovers.

Mazda – Low APR, a price ‘bonus’ or an ‘Eco’ scrappage allowance are the three deals on the table at Mazda Ireland. They’re ‘either/or’, mind, so you need to work out which is best for your own needs, but there’s a choice of: either 1.91 per cent APR, a €500 bonus or a €2,000 Eco Upgrade on the Mazda2 supermini; a €2,000 bonus plus a Tech Pack bundle on remaining stocks of the outgoing Mazda3 hatchback; a €1,000 bonus or 3.9 per cent APR on the Mazda6 family car; a €750 bonus or 3.9 per cent APR on the CX-3 crossover; a rate of 5.9 per cent APR on the CX-5 SUV; and either 1.91 per cent APR or a €1,500 bonus on the MX-5 sports car.

Not all deals apply to all models, so visit Peugeot Ireland’s website for more details.

Renault – The highlight here appears to be a super-low APR finance rate of 1.91 per cent on the French firm’s three crossover/SUVs, the Captur, Kadjar and Koleos. This low rate also applies to the passenger cars, while there is also up to €750 in cashback offered plus three years’ free servicing.

Additionally, the SE models of the Ibiza, Leon and Ateca can have a Product Pack of assorted technology added to them at a lower-than-individual-items-cost, for €300 on the Ibiza and €500 on the other two. Toyota – Toyota is offering trade-in boosters of up to €3,000 and three years’ free servicing on all 191-plate cars (the servicing offer is available on all cars ordered and registered before March 31), but the Japanese brand wants to encourage buyers to go green, so the main emphasis is on the company’s hybrid cars; there’s a roadshow taking place in January, which will visit all Toyota dealers in the country, extolling the virtues of the hybrid range, and the finance packages are geared favourably to the part-electric cars, as part of the Upgrade to a Toyota Hybrid for Less programme.

Volkswagen – The German giant has a range of offers on its 191 vehicles, such as PCP finance starting from 1.9 per cent on selected models, Purchase Contributions of up to €2,500 and a suite of Technology Upgrades, which bundle in thousands of Euros’ worth of optional kit for just a few hundred Euro at a time. Volkswagen is also offering an EcoGrant of up to €5,000 off its clean new cars – this is essentially the brand’s own name for a scrappage scheme, as you need to trade in any Euro 1-4 emissions car to qualify.

Volvo – No 191-specific offers from the Swedish outfit, which has one of the strongest current product line-ups in the automotive world, but if you fancy an XC60 SUV, you’re in luck, as you can enjoy the Luxury Digital Pack.
